There’s few issues that I have spoken about to the press that bring me as much personal pride as this one.

I often feel like I’m standing alone in the “fitness” industry. And part of standing alone means speaking out about the lies we collectively tell consumers in order to build our businesses or to sell product.

Those lies mean average, healthy women are ashamed of their very normal bodies. And that includes me and my industry colleagues, who are also subject to shame and judgement of the highest order.

I’m VERY proud to have been a contributor to this, where I can be part of the voice of honesty that eventually paves the way to change.

It’s one of the most important pieces of press I’ve contributed my thoughts to. So If you go to a gym/studio, or you are an instructor, you need to read this NOW.
